Book Review
Paul Dorrell, author of the guidebook for artists "Living the Artist's Life," will be speaking at the Ashland Public Library, 410 Siskiyou Blvd., on Monday, October 24th, at 7 p.m. This will be an Author Night event. Prior to his arrival there, Dorrell will be speaking at major art centers in New York, San Diego, Los Angeles and in the Bay Area.
Dorrell is a gallery owner and novelist, known for his hard-won success and compassion toward artists. His book is renowned for its candor, originality and sound guidance. It's been endorsed by the Rhode Island School of Design and five other major schools, along with a variety of magazines, newspapers and state art councils.
